When I was stung we used vinegar, the sand on the beach and cold water. It was itchy after wards but I suppose it would be.

That is one option. If you do not have that option, the readily available antidote is the ammonia in your urine. The ammonia reacts with the poison and provides temporary relief.

Yes but it is easier to pee on it. This neutralizes the poicon. I live on the Florida gulf coast and have done this many times after being stung.

yes,also hot water and the vineagr,or ''pee''on it,for real no joke.,my friends daughter got stung from a sand shark while fishn last year,we used vinegar and realy hoy water ,took about an hour 4 the pain 2 go,bvut it did work.hope this helps ya.

Make a paste w/seawater and spread on stings. Small enough package to take with you to the shore.

Yes. The stings are alkaline, so an acid (a weak acid, such as vinegar (ethanoic acid) or lemon juice (citric acid)) will neutralise them (forming water and a salt).

Urine wil also work, as will orange juice.

Im not sure - but human urine is an affective remedy for it

yes, also urine. because the acid reacts with the alcaloids in the sting.
