Well. u do not need ice, & few first-aid kits have the tools u need. Much of the answer depends on which finger & where was it cut. Understand- this IS NOT MEANT to be medical advice or a 'how to'!
The first thing u need to do is to get things ready- sterile tools, treat yourself for shock, deaden the area, inject antibiotics, etc.
Then u prepare the area- remove dead tissue, neaten up the connecting surfaces, line everything up,
If bone was involved, line it up & attach it- adhesives, pegs, wires, etc. depending on the specifics.
Deal with the muscles, nerves, & blood vessels involved- again, depending on specifics.
Then, sew the skin, clean everything up, check results, etc. all one-handed while u r in shock.
Most people who severe a finger & treat it at home either leave it off, or basically reattach it with bandaging- which usually results in bad things.
All things considered- get help & consider it a good investment.
No!!! There are blood vessel's, nerve's, and ligaments, that needed to be reattached. Unless you, or a family member have knowledge of how to reattach a finger, you did the right thing by going to the hospital. Not to mention infection.
WOW. use scotch tape.
there was this person who made pig bladder into a powder then put it on his finger every day then eventualy his finger grew back
might not be pig bladder but mostl ikely
