Phone numbers of your doctor ,Vet , Parents , hospital , Furison salve Bandages ,clean gauze and lots of them ,cotton , Iodine , Alchoal , scissors wire cutters to name just a few items along with paprt and pen.
hello, this is my suggestion: horse first aid mini booklet(a life saver)
vinegar(loosens muscles, cleans wounds, makes coat shine.)
list of emergency contacts
iodine
vet wrap
scissors
thermometer
list of ur horses regulars(pulse,temp., capillary refill,.)
flashlight & batteries
clean bucket or grain bin
petroleum jelly
hoof pick
towel
q tips
epsom salt
bandaging tape
regular tape
gauze pads
alcohol wipes
eye wash
asprin
tote to keep this all in

manuka honey - brilliant healig properties

duct tape -for holding foot poultices & leg wraps in place
hyrdogen peroxide - for treating thrush
i also have setalin (an oral sedative) bute (a painkiller) & two bottles of anti-biotics & a lot of hypodermics. but i was a veterinary nurse & i have the worlds most accident prone horse, so most people wo not have these in thier first aid kit

u will need:
A list of important phone numbers i.e. vet, doctor, insurers.
Paper & pen.
Torch & spare batteries.
Small pair of tweezers or forceps.
A clean bucket or big bowl.
Surgical spirit.
Petroleum jelly.
Pair of curved, stainless steel scissors.
Veterinary gamgee: For padding under stable bandages.
Cotton wool: For padding under stable bandages.
Self-adhesive bandages: To finish a wound dressing.
Sterile non-stick wound covering: To cover a wound once it has been cleaned, before bandaging.
Stethoscope: To take the horse is pulse.
Animalintex poultice: For drawing pus out of puncture wounds.
Thermometer.
Wound powder & spray: For small cuts & grazes.
Wound cream: For small cuts & grazes.
Antiseptic: For cleaning wounds.
Antibacterial wash.
PVC tape: For holding hoof dressings & bandages in place.
Gauze conforming bandage.
Tubigrip: Support for leg swellings.
Orthopaedic padding.
Elastoplasts: For holding dressings high up the leg
